I really need to visit the blog more often!
I've been working as fast as possible to finish the novel. I'm within 40 pages of the end - that's a guess. I'm taking it to SiWC to get some feedback. I really don't know what to expect as a whole but no matter what it should be a great learning experience.
Hopefully come Sunday night I don't want to throw out my work because it's crap! LOL
See you on the other side of education!
I write horror. I write as dark and as disgusting as humanly possible. In the past, when I have been asked why I never really had an answer. It's something I've done since I was a child. Looking back I think the answer is simple. It's a coping mechanism. My readers enjoy the thrill and the excitement of the worlds I create and destroy. For me it helps to clear the junk out of my head.

AND THIS IS FROM A FORMER CANADIAN DEFENSE MINISTER!!!
WOW, WHAT A WORLD WE LIVE IN!
SSE Talks - Former Deputy Prime Minister on UFOs 1/3
This is one of those videos that fascinate and enrage you at the same time. Former Canadian Defense Minister Paul Hellyer talks candidly and openly about his knowledge of UFO and alien contacts. In short he admits that it's true, and has been true for decades. Why are we not hearing about this in the mainstream???

Writing Posted...
I posted a non-fiction account of an experience I had a few years ago. I don't normally dabble in non-fiction, but this time I needed to document my time on a short lived reality TV show called No Opportunity Wasted.
I wrote the story when I returned home from filming. It was my experience on the show that gave me the drive to pursue writing in the first place. I guess it makes sense I share this story first!
The story takes you through the day I found out about the show and applied for it, all the way to my return home after filming. In all, it was quite the adventure!
Check out: No Further Opportunities Wasted!

Day 1 of blogging
Okay...I think I've set up this Blog thing to a functional level. In the next day or so I will post some writing for the critics!
6 weeks until the Surrey International Writers Conference! I have so much to do between now and then.
I wonder how well I will mesh with that crowd...this is all new to me!

Hans Zimmer - Chevaliers de Sangreal
Something about this piece of music I really enjoy...I think I connect with it because I am searching for truth in my own life and I think that's the point of the music...looking for something.
An introduction...
I've never been a fan of blogs, or personal websites. Frankly I never thought my life was that exciting that others would want to read about me. Then it occurred to me...don't read about me, just read what I write, and take from it what you will.
I enjoy writing, but until recently I have kept my work to myself. Those who I have shared my work with, on the whole, have enjoyed it. My work is meant to entertain. Are there life lessons hidden in the work? Only the reader can say.
I know what I meant and I meant what I wrote...no doubt someone will reinterpret my work in some twisted bizarre fashion. I admit, I am stubborn. My writing can and will piss you off at times. I explore the darker elements of humanity and I don't like to sugar coat things.
I am a believer in provocation. Only through provocation can we elicit a genuine response.
I am not a fan of political correctness. Changing terminology to be polite is self defeating, eventually the new terminology becomes rude and demeaning as well. Language evolves over time; it should not be forced.
And finally, the world is naive.
